Sam was a fantastic asset to our team and worked across a number of positions during her time at Picturehouse. 

Sam’s can-do attitude and superb attention to detail allowed her to grow and learn whilst working at our company and she was responsible for a hugely important part of our business. 

As a copywriter, editor, and website manager - she made sure Picturehouses.com was always looking its best. 

She’s also proved time and time again that she’s got a passion for events and party planning! A very organised and diligent team player and I’m glad to have been able to work with her.

Sam is a Picturehouse legend, known for her boundless optimism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. She's always keen to step up for a challenge, and constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve. Sam's able to grasp complex tasks and workloads with ease, and is always eager to help out others. 

She will be very missed at Picturehouse, but whoever employs her will be very lucky to have her.

Samantha is a delight to work with. I used her services as part of her job at Picturehouse when I was running Sundance Film Festival London 2022 and 2023. 

In 2022, we had Samantha assigned to look after a group of filmmakers and she made them feel very very welcome at the festival and I was impressed with the extra personal attention she brought to her duties. 

In 2023 we used her expertise even more, I knew how creative and talented Samantha was with events so we hired her to create welcome gift bags for our visiting VIP guests. She had a VERY limited budget but really stretched it to have maximum impact - she had such great ideas for gifts in the bag, even commissioning bespoke cookies with the festival logo. 

Our guests were so very impressed with their gifts and the thoughtfulness that went into them, and the attention to detail. 

I was also impressed that Samantha just needed the number of people and the budget from me, and then did everything perfectly without any more guidance needed. She really nailed it. 

Also at Sundance 2023, with a crazy tight budget we asked her to do some simple floral decor for our restaurant tables at events and she was so creative to stretch the budget in inventive ways and the flowers and vases looked perfect. 

I was amazed at what she could do with almost no budget!

I have so enjoyed working with Samantha, she is a supportive, creative, diligent, hardworking member of the team whose presence is always reassuring that job will be done well with the attention to detail required. Our loss is definitely another’s gain and I know she will excel at whatever she puts her mind to.

Sam is hugely knowledgeable, dependable and a pleasure to work with. She played a vital role in managing content for the launch of the latest Picturehouse website - a big task that never daunted her. 

She works very efficiently thanks to her exceptional organisational skills. It's great to work with someone who is equally thorough and creative. These traits make her particularly adept at copywriting and copyediting - which are only two of her many strengths. 

Sam is always keen to take on new responsibilities and in the short amount of time (approx 9 months) I have worked with her she's grown tremendously into her role.
